Rwanda Currency , rwanda banks and forex trading
The Rwanda currency is called the Rwanda Franc (RWF) and it is equivalent to 100 cents.The notes are in denominations of 5,000, 1,000, 500, 100 where as the coins are in denominations of RWF50, 20, 10, 5, 2 and 1.Most international currencies are generally accepted in Rwanda although travellers cheques are mosly limited to the Kigali city centre where as credit cards and master cards are mostly accepted in Diner clubs..Foreign currency exchanges can be done at the respective forex beaureaux like:
